Welcome to Lets Drive Wales School of Motoring
Lets Drive Wales School of Motoring is a friendly and local driving school owned by Mr Carl Thomas, a fully qualified driving instructor approved by the Driving Standards Agency (DSA ADI).
The aims of the school are simple, to offer professional driving instruction, with driving lessons that are tailored to meet the needs of each student on an individual basis, from the complete beginner to the more experienced driver.
Let’s Drive Wales Driving School is based in Neath and covers all the surrounding areas including Cimla, Tonna, Skewen, Briton Ferry, Baglan, Bryncoch, Cilfrew and Aberdulais.
Let’s Drive Wales plan to expand in the next year with up to 4 new instructors including learning to drive in automatic gears. We are also expanding to other areas including Ammanford, Pontardawe, Trebanos, Rhos, Alltwen and Clydach.

I passed my test today with only 3 minor faults and I honeslty couldn't have asked for a better driving instructor. Mario was absolutely great, really easy to talk to and really helped me identify and iron out habits. I cannot recommend him enough! 5 stars all day long. Thanks again Mario 👍

Got referred to Mario, I had previously taken lessons from someone else but after only 3 sessions I felt ready to take my test and passed. Mario has a wealth of knowledge and has a high standard which helps pass. I would highly recommend.

I was late into learning to drive, so was very nervous. Carl my instructor was very patient and calm with me. Despite the covid pandemic doing its very best to disrupt us, with the help of Carl I passed my test first time. I could not of been more grateful to him. I would recommend without doubt Let’s Drive Wales, for your driving lessons. A five star from me.

I left it late in life to start learning to drive, however I had Carl who instilled confidence in myself to do it and despite COVID doing its best to disrupt things, I managed to pass first time. You cannot go wrong with Let’s Drive Wales, superb from beginning to end. Would highly recommend.

At the grand old age of 49 I thought I'd have another go at learning to drive not really thinking I would do it. But with the amazing patience of Carl my instructor i passed 1st time.

It has honestly been a fantastic experience learning to drive with Carl! He is a fantastic and experience instructor and a spectacular person! He has unlimited support and patience (i lost count of the amount of times I did the same manoeuvre over and over again and he only offered support and advice)! I couldn't have asked for a better driving instructor. Carl had the patience of a saint, was always encouraging, positive and brought humour to every lesson. The best by a mile

I had tried learning to drive with a few instructors before going with Carl, and he was the best by a mile. Very friendly and approachable from the start. I had a very good instructor/learner relationship with Carl. He was very patient, encouraging and supportive, while also bringing humour to the lessons which put me at ease. I always looked forward to my lessons with Carl, we always had a laugh, it was like sitting next to a friend I'd known for years. I'm over the moon to have passed, but will definitely miss our lessons. I would highly recommend Lets drive Wales to anyone xx

Brill Instructor, Great guy. He was brilliant throughout the whole process, addressing any concerns I had during my lessons and tailoring each lesson to ensure I was comfortable and confident for my test. As well as being a brilliant instructor he has been a great laugh during the lessons and was easy to communicate with, both during and outside of the lessons. Carl was the best driving instructor I could have asked for, I was such a nervous starter but he made me feel at ease and safe straight away. To say I was terrified of driving in my first few lessons is an understatement but Carl managed to turn the girl scared of second gear into a confident driver a lot quicker than I thought was possible! I highly recommend Carl for anyone wanting to learn, he was a great, friendly teacher who puts you at ease and is very easy to get along with. I'll genuinely miss our lessons as they were a pleasure to do, but I'm extremely happy to have passed and it's all thanks to Carl and his brilliant teaching!

I would recommend Lets Drive Wales 110%, If your serious about getting your licence then Carl is the man to get you through with flying colours. He is patient, clear in his tuition and makes you feel totally at ease plus the 2 hour lessons (yes you get your full 2 hours) are much better as you learn much more .
